Davianna Griffin
Artist | Scholar | Maker | Educator

Welcome into my world of art-making, experimenting, and processing! I’m a professional Black queer artist-scholar based in the Seattle area. I center the voices, bodies, and ideas of the Black experience to counteract the national tradition of violent anti-Blackness. My movement vocabulary is rooted in Africanist aesthetics, traditions, and histories that inform my autoethnographic-embodied-ancestral memory practices.
